Whats our opening hours?

We are open Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays

from oct 19th- March 9th

9:30 – 13:00

 

Daily:

From March 13th – April 30th

9:30 – 15:30

From May 1st – September 20th

8:30 – 19:00

Where is the departure location?

All departures are from pier 3, waterfront City Hall – Rådhusbrygge 3, in Norwegian

You can get information about which boat you are booked in our kiosk, located at the pier.

Are the tours guided?

The Fjord Sightseeing 2 hours tour and City Cruise tour are audio guided in English.

Can I choose my own seat when I book a tour?

All our tours are free seating.

Do I need to book a ticket for my baby?

Yes, for safety reasons we need to count all the passengers on board.

What are the age group for your tickets?

All Sightseeing tours:

0-5 Gratis / Free

6-17 Child

Over 18 Adult

 

Ferry to the museums:

0-5 Gratis /free

6-17 Child

18-66 Adult

67 and over Senior

Can I take my luggage on board?

Please check with the crew, this depends on your booked tour, but normally, you can.

The tour is wheelchair accessible?

Ferry to the museums: Yes, on non marked departures ( consult our schedule here).

 

Sightseeing tours:

You need to check in advanced, this depends which boat is operating. Cunsult us on booking@nyc.no

Are there any meals included in the tours?

On Norwegian Evening on the Fjord tour, Jazz and Bluescruise a shrimp buffet or crab (season) is included in the ticket.

All other sightseeing tours have a bar on board where you can purchase small meals and snacks.

There’s a toilet on board?

All our sightseeing tours have a toilet on board.

The ferry to the museums does not have a toilet.

How can I buy my ticket online with Oslo Pass?

You cant buy a ticket with OsloPass online.

You can buy your ticket in our kiosk at pier 3 or at the tourist information in Østbanehallen by the central station, where we do the discount in person. We can reserve tickets for you on booking@nyc.no.

If you are going on the ferry to the museums with an Oslo Pass, you don’t need a ticket, you just show your Oslo pass on board. The same applies if you own a 72 hours Oslo Pass and you are taking the city Cruise tour.

Can I change the departure time on my booked tour?

You can write us with your booking reference and wished change booking@nyc.no

You can call us +4723356890, we will need your booking reference in order to change your booking.

Do I need to exchange my E-ticket?

We recommend you to check-in with your E-ticket in our kiosk at pier 3, in order to provide the right boat information.

I missed my tour, what can I do?

When possible, we can reschedule. You can write us with your booking reference and wished departure booking@nyc.no

You can call us +4723356890, we will need your booking reference in order to change your booking.

I have an Oslo pass; can I ride for free?

You can ride for free the ferry to the museums, with no ticket required. The 72 hours Oslo pass includes free ride the City Cruise Hop on Hop off.

For all the rest of our tours consult your discount at pier 3.

Can I cancel my trip?

Yes, you can. Please contact us with your booking reference.

Up to 72 hours is free cancelation.

Are dogs allowed on board?

yes

What if it’s raining?

Depending which tour you are booked, you might have an enclosed boat, or our wooden boats will have a roof tent.

Can I take a bicycle on board?

Ferry to the museums: Yes, on non marked departures ( consult our schedule here).

 

Sightseeing tours:

No, you can park your bicycle by the pier.

Are we allowed to bring alcohol, or to smoke aboard?

Alcohol is not allowed on board.

Please consult the crew for smoking areas

Where can I park my car?

The closest car parking is at Aker Brygge parking house. There is few spots in the near of the center to park a car.

Do I need to stand in line if I have a E-ticket?

We recommend you to check-in with your E-ticket in our kiosk at pier 3, in order to provide the right boat information.

If you know which boat you are booked for, you may check-in by the boat with the crew before boarding.

I am allergic to seafood; do you have something else?

The popular Norwegian Evening Cruise includes a shrimp buffet and we don’t offer any other food.

Please consult the crew in order to take your own food.

I have gluten intolerance; do you offer gluten free meals?

We have gluten free bread included in the shrimp buffet.
